We are seeking a dynamic, solution-oriented Business Development professional to drive client acquisition and market penetration.

Role & Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive/Manager will be instrumental in expanding our client base within the SME and growth-stage market. This role requires an individual who can engage credibly with leadership and position our bespoke HR solutions.

  1. Strategic Business Growth & Sales Cycle Management:
  • Identify, qualify, and convert high-potential leads across the SME, start-up, and mid-sized segment.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle: from initial outreach, needs discovery, pitching, proposal creation, and deal closure.
  • Drive predictable revenue growth by promoting the full spectrum of PerformR’s HR advisory, consulting, and on-demand services.
  1. Executive Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Founders, CXOs, Business Heads, and HR Leaders.
  • Deeply understand client ‘People Challenges’ and recommend tailored, high-impact HR solutions.
  • Nurture accounts for long-term retention, cross-selling, and sustained growth.
  1. Market Intelligence & Collaboration:
  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to inform sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal consulting teams on proposal development, capability decks, and pricing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely pipeline reporting and support business visibility initiatives (e.g., webinars, events).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 4–5 years in Business Development within HR Consulting, Staffing, B2B Professional Services, or HR Tech.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR processes and the people-related challenges faced by SMEs/growth-stage businesses.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Excellent consultative selling and executive-level communication skills.
    • Proven ability to independently manage sales pipelines and achieve targets.
    • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Existing network within the HR, SME, or consulting ecosystem.
  • Experience working with Founder-led businesses.
  • Strong negotiation and solution design capabilities.
